  Product Description

  Built for High-Speed, High-Density Workflows

The PURPLELEC HBC083 is a 10-in-1 USB-C docking station engineered for B2B buyers who need a single compact hub to handle 4K display, high-speed storage, dual card readers, and laptop charging — all through one Type-C cable.

Why HBC083 Stands Out in the Hub Category

3× Type-C 10Gbps — Beyond the Industry Standard Most 10-in-1 hubs on the market still rely on USB-A 3.0 (5Gbps) for their main expansion ports. HBC083 reverses that logic: it ships with three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C downstream ports, each delivering up to 10Gbps. That bandwidth headroom matters when end users connect NVMe SSD enclosures, 4K capture cards, or external GPUs — devices where 5Gbps becomes the bottleneck.

100W PD 3.0 Pass-Through Charging A dedicated PD 3.0 upstream port accepts up to 100W input and delivers approximately 85W to the connected host laptop after deducting the dock's internal consumption — enough to fast-charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro or a 15-inch business ultrabook under load.

4K@60Hz HDMI with HDCP 2.3 Drives a single external display at 3840×2160 @ 60Hz via DP Alt Mode 1.4. HDCP 1.4/2.3 compliance ensures playback compatibility with protected content from streaming services and Blu-ray sources.

Dual SD + TF UHS-I Card Slots SD and TF (microSD) slots operate independently and simultaneously, supporting SDXC / SDHC / MMC and Micro SDXC / Micro SDHC formats at UHS-I speeds. Photographers and videographers can offload from both cards in parallel.

Integrated Captive Cable — No Lost Connector The upstream Type-C cable is permanently attached (30cm), eliminating the most common failure point of detachable-cable hubs: lost or damaged USB-C cables on the buyer's RMA list.

Aluminum Unibody Heat Sink The full-aluminum housing acts as a passive heat sink, dissipating heat from the internal USB 3.2 Gen2 controller during sustained high-throughput operation. Critical for stable performance when multiple high-power devices are connected.

Designed for Distributor & OEM Channels

HBC083 is currently in volume production at PURPLELEC's Shenzhen Bao'an facility, with 18 years of 3C accessory manufacturing experience. The product is available for private label, custom firmware, custom packaging, and certification support (FCC / CE / RoHS / UKCA on request) for distributors, resellers, and brand owners across the US, EU, Japan, and Korea.

FAQ
  FAQ

Q1: Is HBC083 compatible with USB-C ports that don't support DP Alt Mode?
A1: No. The HDMI output requires the host's USB-C port to support DP Alt Mode 1.4 or Thunderbolt 3/4. USB-C ports that only support data (USB 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.1 data-only) will allow USB and card-reader functions to work, but the HDMI port will not output video.

Q2: Can the PD port charge the laptop at the full 100W advertised?
A2: The PD port accepts up to 100W input from your wall charger. After deducting the dock's internal power consumption, approximately 85W is delivered to the connected host laptop — sufficient for fast-charging 13-inch to 16-inch laptops including MacBook Pro 16" under typical load.

Q3: Why are there three Type-C downstream ports instead of more USB-A?
A3: HBC083 is designed for users running modern high-speed peripherals — NVMe SSD enclosures, 4K capture cards, professional audio interfaces — most of which now ship with USB-C connectors and require 10Gbps bandwidth. Two USB-A 3.0 ports are retained for legacy peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and U-disks.

Q4: Can SD and TF cards be read simultaneously?
A4: Yes. The SD and TF slots are independent channels and can be accessed at the same time, allowing parallel offloading from two memory cards.

Q5: What's the maximum HDMI resolution and refresh rate?
  A5: 3840×2160 @ 60Hz (4K UHD at 60Hz), supporting HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.3 for protected content playback.

  Q6: What's the MOQ for OEM/ODM orders?
A6: Standard MOQ is 500 pieces for private-label packaging and 1,000 pieces for custom firmware or hardware modifications. Lower MOQ may be negotiated for trial orders — contact our sales team for details.

Q7: Does the dock work without external power?
A7: Yes, for low-power devices (mice, keyboards, U-disks, single SSD, HDMI display). When connecting multiple high-power devices or running all ports at full load, connecting a PD charger to the PD port is required to prevent display flicker or device disconnection.

Q8: Is the cable replaceable if damaged?
A8: The Type-C upstream cable is integrated (captive design) and not user-replaceable. This is by design to eliminate cable loss, which is the most common RMA cause for detachable-cable hubs. Cable damage is covered under warranty.
